Amazon had some pretty cool stuff on show at CES like developments in generative AI in AWS and some other cool stuff. But far more exciting than that is the adoption of Matter Casting for their Fire TV and Echo show.
Open source is best source, and Amazon has doubled down on that. I look forward to seeing how good it is in practice!
There was other fun stuff too like their partnership with BMW too:
The high points though:
Panasonic Smart TVs with Fire TV Built In.
Amazon and Panasonic have announced a collaboration to bring Fire TV built in to its smart TVs this year. Panasonic also revealed two new flagship OLED smart TVs, Panasonic Z95A and Z93A, with Fire TV built in. With Fire TV built in and access to Alexa, customers can easily launch apps, play music, search for titles, and control compatible smart home devices using far-field voice control with Alexa, marking the first OLEDs from Panasonic with this feature.

Matter Casting on Fire TV and Echo Show.
Amazon remain committed to using open technology standards to give customers more choice over the devices and services used in their homes. At CES, Amazon announced Matter Casting, which enables customers to cast content to Fire TV and Echo Show 15 devices directly from supported streaming apps on iOS and Android. Matter Casting is now available for customers around the world who want to cast Prime Video content from iOS and Android devices to Echo Show 15 and will be coming to compatible Fire TV devices in the coming months.
