2K video resolution is coming to Ring’s Floodlight Cam Wired Pro and Spotlight Cam Pro devices. No upgrade required, it’s just gonna happen. Pretty slick.
The upgrade is set to roll out to new and existing ANZ customers from January 8 2025. It represents Ring’s highest image quality to date, offering customers enhanced clarity and detail in their home security footage.

The hits keep on coming. Ring also announced the new Vehicle Detection. This notifies users when a moving vehicle is detected in the field of view on select Ring doorbells and cameras. This new Smart Alerts feature is available to customers with a Ring Home subscription plan.
Vehicle Detection will begin rolling out today and will be available to all customers with eligible devices in the coming weeks, including:
