The board game King of Tokyo, created by Richard Garfield, the mastermind behind the iconic Magic: The Gathering, is making its video game debut.

Published by Microids, it will release physically on PS5 and Switch on June 30th, 2026. There is even an exclusive limited edition available for pre-order now.

    This limited edition includes:

    • The Full Game

    • A cardboard figurine and a Blockbuster Bro Monster Board

    • 8 Evolution Cards

    King of Tokyo
will be available physically on June 30, 2026, on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.

I am waiting to see a trailer before I get too excited, but it is looking intriguing.
