I will always take a delayed game over a buggy released game. Well Developer KING Art Games have agreed and decided to take a little more time to ensure Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV is as ready to be released as can be. It will now launch on December 4, with Commander Edition players gaining early access from November 30.
The team at KING Art Games is taking a little more time to further refine the experience ahead of launch, focusing on performance optimisation, bug fixing, gameplay polish, and incorporating additional feedback from recent community playtesting.
Development continues at full pace, and players can expect more Battlefield Reports, gameplay showcases, and developer deep dives over the coming months as the studio shares more of what’s to come.
“As we approached the final stages of development, we saw an opportunity to further enhance Dawn of War IV and deliver the quality of experience we’ve always envisioned. The additional time will allow us to continue optimising performance, resolving bugs, and applying further polish to ensure players have the best possible experience from day one” said Jan Theysen, Creative Director at KING Art Games.
