Reign of Jafar may be around the corner, but some of the biggest news is coming from the next set Fabled.
You can check out the video for more details, but the big news that stood out to me is:
Two new rarities
Fabled will include cards that are Iconic and Epic.
Iconic cards will be extremely rare with only two appearing in each set.
Epic cards will appear more often than Enchanted cards and feature special artwork and foil treatments.
Core Constructed rotation
Core constructed will introduce rotation. Fabled with be the first set for thew year 3 block. When it releases the first 4 sets will rotate out of Core Constructed.
Reprints will also be introduced, meaning an old card may stay in the format, or come back in later, by being included in a new set.
A new constructed format, Infinity Constructed
Don’t throw out your First Chapter cards yet, Infinity Constructed appears to be a non-rotating format. So you can keep that slick deck going you have been using for the last year in the older format, while playing with a newer deck in Core Constructed.
