    Flesh and Blood has heaps of new stuff coming

    Aotearoa’s own Legend Story Studios have announced a bunch of new Flesh and Blood TCG products.

    With the Rosetta set coming hot and fast, it has a nice new Trailer. Check it out:

    Mastery Packs!

    The new Mastery Pack will be a special booster set with cards all playable within a certain class. The first iteration of the Mastery Pack product will be Mastery Pack: Guardian which will release in March 2025.

    The pack will feature 140 cards, mostly all new cards, all playable for Guardian heroes in Flesh and Blood.

    New Sets

    The unnamed Set 15 will release in January 2025, followed by Set 16 in May 2025.

    Armory Decks

    Following the huge success of Armory Decks Kayo, Boltyn and the upcoming Azalea, four more have been thrown into the mix. They will release in October, November, April, and July.

    One of these Armory Decks will introduce an brand new hero.

    5th Anniversary Booster packs

    In celebration of Legend Story Studio’s 5th birthday in October, Gottlieb shared a preview of a limited edition booster pack available only at the World Championship in Osaka.

    More details will come soon on how the 5th Anniversary will also be celebrated in local games stores.

    Rosetta

    Key dates for Rosetta were announced, including Preview Season on August 27-30, the World Premiere in Tampa Bay on September 6 with the Calling on September 7-8. Pre-Release Events will take place at local game stores from September 13-16, leading up to Release Day on September 20, followed by Play Day Events from September 20-22. To welcome new players into the mix, Gottlieb announced the Road to Tampa Bay series, starting at Gen Con on August 1 where newcomers can learn how to play with beginner-friendly 1st Strike decks before their official release on August 23. The Road to Tampa Bay series welcomes newcomers to selected local game stores to learn the basics of Flesh and Blood in the lead up to the official release.

    New cards from the Rosetta set were also revealed, introducing new split-cards and the meld mechanic that allows players to combine the elements of Aria like never before. 

    With Rosetta also comes an exciting update to Limited formats, in the way of Macro cards. Sanctuary of Aria is the first Macro card, which means you start the game with it in the arena when playing Rosetta Limited. Moving forward, ‘Limited’ means any format comprised exclusively of cards from a single set. This includes Sealed Deck, Booster Draft, Blitz Preconstructed, and Solo.
