Sony has unveiled the monthly games that will be available for all PlayStation Plus subscribers for November: Stray, EA Sports WRC 24, and Totally Accurate Battle SImulator (TABS).
All three games will be available to claim from Tuesday, November 4 until Monday, December 1. As long as you claim them during this window, they’ll be playable for as long as you have an active PS Plus subscription (as opposed to the Game Catalog and Classics Catalog games for the higher tiers, which operate like a more typical subscription service).
Feline action-adventure game Stray will be familiar to a lot of PlayStation Plus members already, as it was part of the Game Catalog when it first launched in 2022, but it left the library in 2023. It’s reappearance as a Monthly Game means it’s available to those on the Essential tier, and also means it’s yours “to keep” as long as your subscription is active.
EA Sports WRC was the result of EA gaining the World Rally Championship licence and then getting Dirt developer Codemasters on the job. The result was an excellent rally game tie-in to the 2023 WRC season, followed by a 2024 expansion—EA Sports WRC 24 is the full package, with the base game and 2024 DLC bundled together. Unfortunately, EA pulled the pin on any future WRC games with Codemasters, but this one is a fantastic example of what happens when you give the WRC licence back to one of the most accomplished racing game studios around today.
EA Sports 24 also has the bonus of including New Zealand stages, despite Rally New Zealand not being included in the WRC for the last few years. The game’s “Oceania Rally” might be fictitious, but it includes stages based on those of the 2022 Rally New Zealand, when the WRC last featured local roads. It’s always fun to see Aotearoa in the global spotlight.

Lastly, there’s Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. I’ll admit I haven’t played it and don’t know much about it, so here’s the overview from Sony’s Monthly Games announcement: “Be the leader of red and blue wobblers from ancient lands, spooky places and fantasy worlds. Watch them fight in simulations made with the wobbliest physics system ever created. When you grow tired of the 100+ wobblers at your disposal you can make new ones in the unit creator. You can also send your wobblers to fight your friends or strangers in online multiplayer.”
The arrival of new monthly games also means there’s only a few days left to claim October’s games. You’ve got until November 3 to claim Alan Wake II, Goat Simulator 3, and Cocoon.
