It has been a while since The Talos Principle consumed too much of my brain. Well Croteam and Devolver Digital have brought it right back. They did this by dropping the first gameplay of The Talos Principle 3, the grand finale of their award-winning trilogy of philosophical puzzle games.
The Talos Principle 3 will take players beyond the infinite to dozens of new worlds, each with their own unique stories, puzzles, and characters – some of which you can get an early glimpse of in this new gameplay clip, revealed at the Triple-I Initiative showcase.
As if awakening from a troubled sleep, you find yourself in a strange, contradictory world of crumbling temples and abandoned science outposts: the Anomaly, the only place in the universe where the laws of physics don’t work as they should. Your memories are fragmented, but you know you came here for a reason.
Tasked with solving a series of increasingly complex puzzles, you will relive your life as an explorer, and with it, the history of the world that humanity built. Some say the Anomaly is Heaven. Some say it’s Hell. All that’s certain is that judgement awaits.
Mind-bending new puzzle gameplay systems, radical new environments, and a truly epic generation-spanning story await players when The Talos Principle 3 launches next year on PC and PlayStation 5.
