Shimmering Skies, the fifth set of Disney Lorcana TCG is coming in August. Best of all, in a few weeks we will all be caught up down under so can join in the launch time celebration.
There is a promise of new Disney characters and evolved game mechanics.
Shimmering Skies will be released first at local game stores on August 9, 2024, followed by mass market retailers on August 23, 2024. Full details can be found below.
What’s coming:
- Shimmering Skies features Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph with the introduction of characters like Vanellope Von Schweetz and Fix-it Felix Jr.
- Shimmering Skies will include:
- Two starter decks featuring a combination of Emerald/Steel or Amethyst/Ruby (AU$29.99/NZ$32.99)
- Booster packs of additional cards (AU$9.99/NZ$10.99)
- A new Illumineer’s Trove (AU$99.99/NZ$109.99)
- New accessories include two new playmats (AU$35.99/NZ$39.99), card sleeves (AU$17.99/NZ$19.99), and deck boxes (AU$10.99/NZ$11.99)
- Also releasing alongside Shimmering Skies is Disney Lorcana Gateway, the perfect entry point for those new to Disney Lorcana
- A Shimmering Skies foil card featuring alternative art will be available for a limited time in new, stickered copies of Disney Villainous: Introduction to Evil board game in Q3 2024
