Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has been out just shy of two months, but it’s almost time for the first DLC fighter to join the fray. Andy Bogard, the “South Town Shinobi”, arrives on 24 June as the first character in the game’s Season Pass 1.
Andy is the younger brother of King of Fighters and Fatal Fury poster boy Terry Bogard, and has been kicking around since the very first Fatal Fury hit arcades in 1991. He’s a master of Shiranui-style taijutsu and a trainer to Hokutomaru, and he longs for the day when the two can fight as equals. He brings his familiar style of acrobatic combat to City of the Wolves, along with some new tricks and a heck of a glow up in the game’s comic book visual style.
Andy is the first of five characters announced for the first Season Pass for City of the Wolves. The others are Ken from Street Fighter (winter 2025), Joe Higashi (spring 2025), Chun-Li from Street Fighter (summer 2025), and Mr Big (early 2026). That makes a new character roughly every two months, which seems a good cadence. Guest appearances from Street Fighter‘s Ken and Chun-Li follow Street Fighter 6 getting Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui as guests—it’s nice to see the friendly rivalry between Capcom and SNK heating up again.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves launched in April this year for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam. By most accounts, there’s a solid fighting game at its core, although with a lack of casual-oriented content.
